Firefighters, inspector complete CAL FIRE BEU Rehire Academy

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Fire season is on the way with firefighters ready to battle flames after finishing Rehire Academy.

22 firefighters and four defensible space inspectors wrapped up their training for the year before being on hand to tackle fires during the summer as temperatures heat up.

Every fire season, seasonal members of CAL FIRE return for recurrence training and proficiency testing before being assigned to their respective locations.
