San Benito County lifts all evacuation warnings

SAN BENITO COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV)- UPDATE ON JAN. 19, 2023 AT 4:11 PM: San Benito County announces they have lifted all evacuation warnings.

The warnings that are now lifted include San Felipe Road from Highway 156 to the county line, Lake Road, Lovers Lane and Dunneville Estates and portions of Shore Road from San Felipe Road to Frazier Lake Road.

Officials said these warnings have been lifted due to the decreased threats of waterways flooding.

The county said that there will be a new webpage that will provide resources and information on recovery. For more information click here.

San Benito County updated their evacuation orders on January 16 to warnings.

Warnings:

  • San Felipe Road from Highway 156 to the county line.
  • Lake Road
  • Lovers Lane
  • Dunneville Estates and portions of Shore Road from San Felipe Road to Frazier Lake Road.

Shelters:

The Veterans' Building at 649 San Benito Street in Hollister. It will open at 12:30 p.m. (This is not a shelter location, just an evacuation point).
