Highway 17 reopens after brief closure

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION)- Highway 17 was closed in both directions out of an abundance of safety for the public.

According to the CHP Santa Cruz Summit Road to Sugarloaf road were closed. As of now the highway is back open.
