Highway 1 closed near Carmel Valley Road

CARMEL, Calif. (KION) California Highway Patrol is shutting down Highway 1 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Caltrans will be working on rock scaling and tree trimming in that area. Traffic will be diverted to Rio Road and Carmel Valley Road for now.
