CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION) Atmospheric CO2 is at its highest level in the last three to five million years and has jumped up significantly over the past hundred years due to man-made emissions. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, meaning it traps the longwave radiation emitted by the earth in the atmosphere.
