Fire breaks out in Salinas shed

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) A fire broke out Tuesday at a home off San Juan Grade Road.

Video shared with KION shows neighbors trying to help a family rescue chickens in the back.

Crews at the scene say they do not know the cause of the fire yet, but it started in a utility shed. No injuries were reported.
