Sketch of suspect in UCSC sexual battery incidents released

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A sketch of a suspect in two sexual battery incidents on the UC Santa Cruz campus has been released as UCSC Police investigate.

The suspect is identified as a white man in his early 20s, between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches in height, slim build, shoulder-length dark hair and dark-colored eyes.

He was last seen wearing black plastic-rimmed glasses, a black bandana and dark clothing.

He was seen at College 7/John R. Lewis College on March 7.

UCSC Police responded to two separate incidents of sexual battery at College Nine/John R. Lewis College in two separate apartment buildings on February 20 and March 7.

The suspect is suspected in both incidents and left the scene.

For those with information on the suspects or any incidents, UCSC says to call 831-459-2231 ext. 1. Those calling can remain anonymous.
