New baby orca spotted in Monterey Bay
MONTEREY BAY, Calif. (KION) Monterey Bay Whale Watch said a new orca calf was spotted in the Monterey Bay recently.
The calf, which staff estimate is a few months old, was seen traveling with what is called "The Friendly Pod" along with the orca that they believe is the mother.
Monterey Bay Whale Watch said the group used to be seen often in the Monterey Bay, but they have not been in the area as much over the past few years.
