Turkey captured, released in new habitat by Moss Landing organization

MOSS LANDING, Calif. (KION) Wildlife Emergency Services, an organization based in Moss Landing, has worked with Oakland Animal Services and the Department of Fish and Wildlife to rehome a turkey.

According to Wildlife Emergency Services, the wild turkey, named Gerald, had been a menace at the Rose Garden in Oakland for several months, so it was captured Thursday morning and released in a habitat hear other wild turkeys.
