County offers free meals for CZU Lightning Complex Fire evacuees

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz County Emergency Operations Center announced that it will begin offering free meals to people evacuated due to the CZU Lightning Complex Fires.

Meals will be served to residents going through the Recovery Resource Center starting Tuesday.

The county said the meals will be individually packaged and ready at around noon at the Kaiser Permanente Arena. The center is open between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Meals are provided by an anonymous donor and by restaurants that include My Mom's Mole, Woodstock Pizza, Barceloneta, Rogue Pye, Half Moon Bay Brewing, Kickin' Chicken, Full Steam Dumpling, Feel Good Foods and Hanloh Thai Foods.
