Salinas councilmember announces retirement from politics
SALINAS, Calif. (KION) Salinas City Councilmember Gloria de la Rosa announced on social media Wednesday that she is retiring from politics.
She has been listed as a candidate for Salinas Mayor.
De la Rosa was first elected to the Salinas City Council in 2000, and she has been there ever since.
She said in a Facebook post that she will be spending more time with family.
