Three arrested in Watsonville for allegedly delaying search
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION)
UPDATE 4 p.m. The Watsonville Police Department said three people were arrested when the Special Response Team was trying to serve a weapons search warrant.
Officers were at the home of a suspect arrested in connection to a domestic incident involving a gun near Tuttle Avenue and Lake Village Drive. They said they were looking for several guns they believed the suspect had access to.
Police said three family members refused to get out of the home after nearly two hours of trying to convince them to. They eventually left the house, but police said they were arrested, cited and released for obstructing and delaying the investigation.
Officers said they did not find any guns.
The Santa Cruz Police Department's Emergency Services Unit and armored vehicle were there to help.
UPDATE 5/27/2020 1:11 p.m. The shelter in place has been lifted for the area around Tuttle and Lake Village Drive.

The department said in a social media post that there is police activity in the area. Police tell KION that they are serving a warrant.
People who live in the area are asked to shelter in place.
