Traffic delays expected along Canyon Del Rey for two construction projects

SEASIDE, Calif.-- Commuters are asked to expect traffic delays on Canyon Del Rey Blvd starting Monday, April 27th. There are two construction projects in the works.

Sanitary sewer work will begin along Canyon Del Rey Boulevard and traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Hilby Avenue and Harcourt Avenue. Construction will be occurring during normal work hours and drivers should expect traffic delays until July 8th.

Also beginning Monday, utility work construction will occur on a separate section of Canyon Del Rey Boulevard between Del Monte Avenue and Highway 1. Daytime work will require closure of one lane of westbound traffic for replacing sidewalk curb and gutter; evening construction will
require the closure of both westbound lanes of traffic from 9PM - 5 AM. This project is anticipated to last 2 weeks.

The City encourages using alternate routes during this time or planning for additional travel time in these areas.
