Family pays tribute to Christina Williams
SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) Family members paid tribute to a seaside teen the day after the man accused of killing her was found guilty.
They stopped by Christina Williams memorial off Imjin road.
She disappeared in June 1998 when she went to walk her dog in Seaside and never returned home.
A pastor stopped by to pray and encourage the family as they honored her memory.
Charles Holifield, the man accused of raping and murdering Williams, was found guilty without reasonable doubt Friday in a non-jury trial, according to the lead prosecutor.
A Monterey County judge sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
