Father of kidnapped child shows long history of suspected criminal activity
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) Brian Sellen, the man suspected of kidnapping his 1-year-old daughter in Santa Cruz, shows a long history of suspected criminal activity.
Based on current public record, Sellen's history began with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. In January of 2019, Sellen was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
In July of 2019, Sellen received another charge from the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office for vandalism and damage of property.
In September of 2019, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office charged Sellen with driving under the influence on a suspended license, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, and evading a police officer.
In October of 2019, Sellen was arrested by Hollister Police for possession of controlled substances.
