Gilroy Fire responds to Home Fire

Gilroy fire crews responded to a residential fire on Tuesday afternoon, quickly able to knock down the flames after they sparked in an outdoor kitchen just after 5pm at the corner of Leavesley road and Holsclaw road.

Crews on scene say that an 18 year old man was suffered slight burns on his leg but were able to aid him at the scene. That outside kitchen and an adjoining room suffered some burn damage.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.
