American Red Cross installing free smoke alarms in Seaside

SEASIDE, Calif. (KION) Volunteers with the American Red Cross will be installing free smoke alarms in Seaside homes for those who cannot afford one or are unable to install one.

As part of the Home Fire Campaign, the volunteers will install the alarms in homes that do not have one and educate people about fire safety.

The campaign will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Jan. 25th by appointment. If you are not available in the 25th, individual appointments can be scheduled through the Red Cross and Seaside Fire.
