Presidio and City of Monterey recognized at Pentagon award ceremony

MONTEREY, Calif. (KION) The Presido of Monterey and the city of Monterey were recognized at a Pentagon award ceremony as winners of a 2019 Army Community Partnership Award.

The award recognizes partnerships that have, "improved readiness, driven modernization and contributed to reform initiatives throughout the Army."

The award reflects an agreement that provides support services to the Presidio of Monterey, Ord Military Community and U.S. Army Signal Activity at Camp Roberts.
