Police beginning to tow vehicles with expired registration, multiple parking tickets in Santa Cruz

Vehicles with registration that has been expired for months will now be towed in the city of Santa Cruz.

The police department said it can now tow vehicles that have had expired registration for more than 6 months of have more than 5 unpaid parking tickets.

Police said three vehicles were towed Wednesday night and 13 were asked to move in the area around Natural Bridges and Deleware.
