3.8 magnitude earthquake felt across Central Coast
The USGS reports that there was a preliminary 3.8 earthquake near Tres Pinos Tuesday morning.
It happened around 8:21 a.m. 14km S of Tres Pinos near the San Andreas Fault.
KION has received reports that the earthquake was felt across the Central Coast.
The 3.8 earthquake comes after a 3.5 and 3.2 earthquake rattled parts of the Central Coast around 2:34 a.m. and 2:42 a.m. Tuesday. According to the USGS, those were foreshocks to the larger quake.
There is no tsunami risk.
