Police: Search warrant turns up LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, cash in Salinas

Salinas police arrested a man on multiple drug sales and weapons charges after serving a search warrant.

Police were going to serve a search warrant in the 1100 block of N. Sanborn Road, but before they got there, they found the suspect, 20-year-old Angel Cruz, in the mall parking lot.

While arresting Cruz and serving the search warrant, officers said they found 4 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, a grow of those mushrooms, tabs of LSD, several ounces of wax, thousands of dollars in cash and an unregistered gun.

Cruz was booked into the Monterey County Jail.
