Santa Cruz police looking for information about shooting on Pacific Avenue

Santa Cruz police are looking for anyone with information about a shooting that happened on Pacific Avenue Tuesday night.

Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue at around 11:19 p.m. When officers got there, everyone had left, but the officers said they found evidence and witnesses.

Outside the downtown area, police found a man with a single gunshot wound, and his injuries were non-life threatening.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and follow up on leads, but no arrests have been made. They ask that anyone in the area who has a home or business surveillance system to check their footage to see if it may help in the case.
