Seaside Shooting suspect arrested
A suspect in a Seaside shooting was arrested Monday, June 3. Seaside Police announced Deshawn Marcus Lee’s arrest Wednesday.
Police say the shooting, which they believe was gang related, happened at 6:16 p.m. May 14 on the 1600 block of Flores Street in Seaside.
When officers got to the scene they found several bullet casings in the street. No nearby homes were shot.
Police say the gunshots were fired from Lee’s dark gray Nissan Altima during an altercation. They say he fired at a white Audi sedan.
Nobody was injured in the shooting.
Lee has been charged with assault with a firearm and shooting at an occupied vehicle, with pending gang enhancements.
