Family sings “Push It” in delivery room

Jordan Houston and Jadie Phelps welcomed a baby girl last week (Dec 13), after their viral a capella hospital performance of “Push it,” by Salt-N-Pepa.

In the video, the couple and their family, including an uncle, aunt and grandma, can be seen prepping themselves to bring Alaya into the world at the Baylor All Saint Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

A nurse had asked the couple if they had a delivery room playlist but they did not and that is when the idea to sing “Push It” came along.

Alaya is the couple’s third child.
