Salinas family remains hopeful during baby’s first months of life in NICU

Genevieve Vega came into the world on December 30th, 2017. Born at 28 weeks, she weighed just 2lbs 15oz.

Her early arrival and complications with her mother’s pregnancy led her to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. It was there that she spent her first 52 days of life.

KION’s Megan Meier will have more on Genevieve’s story tonight at 10 and 11.
