Man arrested for drugs after animal cruelty call
A man is behind bars on drug charges after Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call about suspected animal abuse.
No animals were injured during the investigation, but they have been turned over to Animal Control.
Deputies from the South County Patrol Division contacted Jesse Lillibridge about the suspected animal cruelty.
While talking to him, Deputies found out that Lillibridge had cocaine, marijuana, Adderall, Ecstacy, mushrooms, Xanax and marijuana edibles worth nearly $7000.
He also had more than 116 grams of an unknown substance. Deputies suspect it is an illegal synthetic drug. It’s being tested at the Crime Lab.
Lillibridge was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on several drug charges.
