Salinas man pleads no contest to molesting step daughters
A Salinas man pleaded no contest to molesting his step daughters from 2006-2008.
According to the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office, on September 20, 40-year-old Joel Milan Rodriguez entered no contest pleas to two counts of forcible lewd acts upon a child, one count of forcible sexual penetration upon a child and two counts of non-forcible lewd acts upon a child for sex acts perpetrated upon his two step-daughters.
Rodriguez will be sentenced to a stipulated term of 48 years in prison. He will also be ordered to register as a lifetime sex offender at the sentencing hearing set for October 23, 2018.
