Arthritis foundation bicycle ride to come through Central Coast
Dozens of cyclists will be coming through the Central Coast this weekend.
The Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour is set to kick off Saturday, ending its first day in Santa Cruz and will continue heading south throughout the week.
The tour moves through Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. From there it heads into San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties before getting to its final destination, Los Angeles, on Saturday, September 29th.
Caltrans says law enforcement and ride officials will be located along the route to ensure the safety of drivers, participants and pedestrians. You are advised to be aware of the riders as they move through the area and to ‘Share the Road’.
Check below for a full breakdown from Caltrans of the route the tour will be taking through our area.
