Car strikes pedestrian on N. Main Street in Salinas

A man suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Salinas.

According to Salinas Police, the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident occurred on North Main Street and Iris Drive around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

North Main Street was closed for hours.

SPD is investigating the cause of the accident. It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this case.
