San Francisco shooting victim was aspiring rapper from Texas
UPDATE: 8/7/2018 11:26 a.m. The family of a man who was fatally shot on a San Francisco bridge early Monday say he was an aspiring rapper visiting from Mesquite, Texas.
Darryl Stinnette Sr. says Tuesday that his 31-year-old son Darryl was on a business trip when he was shot while driving on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The San Francisco Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the death.
The younger Stinnette was killed around 2:30 a.m. Monday while driving on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. One passenger was shot and injured and another suffered injuries as the result of a multiple-vehicle collision after the shooting.
Stinnette used the stage name “Lil Pooh” for his music and concert promotion. Stinnette’s mother told KTVU -TV of Oakland she gave her son the nickname “Pooh” because of his kind nature.

All eastbound lanes of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge have reopened, and authorities say they are looking for a gray or silver car involved in a fatal shooting that led to the closure.
California Highway Patrol Officer Pedro Santiago said Monday investigators believe the gray or silver car was used by the suspects.
Authorities say a man was killed and two others were injured when someone opened fire on their SUV.
The shooting on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge caused the SUV to swerve and crash against another car, shutting down all traffic lanes for hours.

California Highway Patrol Officer Bert Diaz says the men were riding in an SUV heading from San Francisco to Oakland early Monday when a vehicle pulled alongside it and someone opened fire at the SUV, which collided with another car.
Diaz says the driver of the SUV died at the scene and another man was shot and wounded. A third man suffered injuries from the collision. Both were taken to a hospital.
The highway patrol says two of the five eastbound lanes of the major traffic artery in the area remained closed Monday.
