Shooting in Salinas, Saturday afternoon
Update:
The Salinas Police Department says the two male suspects approached a 30-year-old man and 27-year old-woman, and shot at them with handguns. The victims ran away, and escaped without getting shot.
The suspects are described as clean shaven and appear to be in their teens. Salinas Police says “it is possible” the suspects fled in a white, or silver, Honda or Nissan.
The shooting is being investigated as gang-related.

Salinas Police responded to the 600 block of Towt Street, Saturday afternoon, for a shooting. Two suspects reportedly shot several rounds at people in the area, at 5:21 p.m., and fled the scene. No one was injured.
SPD tells KION it has the signs of a gang-related incident.
The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, wearing gray hoodies and khaki pants.
