Chick-fil-A among new businesses coming to Northridge Mall

There’s some exciting news to share for food lovers and mall goers on the Central Coast.

Northridge Mall will be opening a Chick-fil-A, Panera and Pandora Jewelry store later this year, according to mall officials.

Sure, it’s not breaking news per se, but we’re pretty excited considering the nearest location of the beloved chicken establishment is in San Jose.

The new location will be in or near the Northridge Mall where there was one a few decades ago. Since we broke the news Wednesday through social media people have been showing their excitement, saying things like, “they should have never taken it out in the first place. Place is bomb!”

“Back in 1988 when I used to walk the mall with my friends, we used to get a bite out there. Their chicken nuggets, their chicken strips were awesome, and their lemonade is so delicious,” said Salinas resident, Carl Torres.

Details are limited right now in terms of when exactly the new Chick-fil-A will open. KION was told more information will be released in the coming weeks.
