Crash backs up traffic on Highway 1 in Monterey

California Highway Patrol is investigating a three-car crash on Highway 1 at Aguajito Rd. in Monterey, backing up traffic Thursday afternoon.

Officers said the southbound side was shut down for several minutes as a helicopter landed to transport one person with minor injuries.
