Two more juveniles arrested for Gilroy shooting that left one injured

Two juveniles were arrested for a shooting on May 26, according to the Gilroy Police Department.

One person was hurt in the shooting and is still recovering from his injuries. It happened on the 6400 block of Hyde Park Drive.

On June 15, two search warrants were served on Rosanna Street and Church street. Gilroy/Morgan Hill Unified Swat team arrested a juvenile who was booked for attempted murder, mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon. Police said stolen property linked to several auto burglaries and thefts were also found at both locations.

A second juvenile was arrested prior to the search warrants by Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety. Police said he was re-arrested at Juvenile hall for his involvement in the shooting. He’s also being charged with attempted murder, mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon.

This brings the total to 3 juveniles arrested in the case. Police said it’s still active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 408-846-0350.
