San Francisco man accused of felony DUI in Felton crash

A San Francisco man was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday evening after a crash on Graham Hill Rd. near the Santa Cruz County Probation Center, according to California Highway Patrol.

Officers said Todd Russo, 48, was driving a Toyota Corolla westbound on Graham Hill Rd. and crossed over double yellow lines, crashing head on into a Mazda 3 traveling eastbound with two woman from Santa Cruz inside.

The driver of the Mazda, a 47-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were sent to the hospital. Officers said the driver had serious injuries.

Russo is accused of felony DUI and both lanes were closed for about 2 1/2 hours during the investigation.
