Power tool causes fire in Carmel Valley

According to Cachagua Fire a 10-acre fire was started by a power tool in Carmel Valley over the weekend.

Fire officials said the blaze started around 1 p.m. off Cachagua Road in the Boronda Creek area. A worker used the power tool and inadvertently started the fire.

Fire fighters were able to get everything under control within two hours and no one was hurt.
