UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled for boy abducted in San Francisco
UPDATE: 5/19/17 10:09 PM: An Amber Alert for a child abducted by his father in San Francisco has been canceled.
Authorities found the one-year-old and his father in the Los Angeles area Friday night.

Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a one-year-old boy abducted by his father in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP headquarters tweeted out information about the Amber Alert shortly before 2:30 p.m. on behalf of San Francisco police.
The suspect Jason Lam, an Asian male, has taken his son, a one year old black male named Makai Bangoura.
Lam is described as five feet three inches tall and weighing 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The boy is approximately two feet tall and weighs 40 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
The alert stated that Lam may be suicidal and should not be approached. Lam is reportedly driving a tan 2000 Toyota Corolla with the California license plate number 5SEY238.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or suspect call 911 immediately.
