Missing Hollister woman found dead
The San Benito County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue staff found the body of 53-year-old Anita Manzo De Flores who went missing Thursday from the Riverview Estates neighborhood off of Southside Rd and Hospital Rd.
Her body was found near the San Benito River at approximately noon on Friday. She was located in the area or the river, west of Hospital Rd. Officials say neither foul play, nor any criminal activity is suspected.
The family has started a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses. There they said Manzo-Flores was “a mother, wife and beloved friend of this community.” The page also said that “the family is in complete shock.”
An autopsy will be performed in the coming days at the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office.
