Mountain View baby reportedly abducted by father found safe

A four-month-old baby who went missing, reportedly abducted by her father, Michael Wallin, 45 has been found safe in Livermore. California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for the baby, Madilyn Wallin, after he took the infant during an argument with Madilyn’s mother.

Mountain View Police Department said Wallin, who does not have custody, was meeting with Madilyn’s mother in Mountain View and during the visit, the child’s parents argued, ending with Wallin driving off with Madilyn on his lap. Madilyn’s mother was also briefly dragged by the car during this time but is understood to be okay.

Her father, suspect Michael Wallin cuts a striking figure. Mountain View PD described him as “a white adult man with brown hair and brown eyes and he has distinctive tattoos all across his torso”.

During the alert, Madilyn was described as approximately 2 feet tall and 15lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes was wearing a white takn top and pink ballerina outfit, according o the CHP.
