Big Time Wrestling league coming to Salinas

Monterey County and the City of Salinas will be ready to rumble in downtown this weekend. The Big Time Wrestling league, or BTW will be in Salinas this Saturday putting on a wrestling show fit for the whole family.

BTW has been around for 20 years and has some big name wrestlers you may have heard of from the WWE such as Ryback and Carlito, both of whom will be present Saturday night. Part of the night’s proceeds will go towards the Salinas Police Activities League Foundation, which gives our area kids a chance to participate in sports and learning activities for free.

“We love to help out, whether that be by purely entertaining, or if we can raise some funds for a great organization like Salinas Pal, however we can do it, however we can bring entertainment and help the community at the same time, we’re gonna do it,” said wrestler Devin Danger.

“It’s a win win for kids and, you know, we’re having something here that I know we haven’t had before,” said Salinas Pal Board Member, Jeff Lamb.

The show will take place at the Salinas Pal Youth Armory on Howard street. Doors open at 6:30PM while the show starts at 7:30.
