Two taken into custody over shooting near King City High School
Police took two suspects into custody for questioning and are still searching for a third suspect following a shooting near King City High school yesterday.
The high school was placed on lockdown for two days in a row after police were trying to make an arrest at the back of the school, next to their stadium, however not on the school grounds.
Last night also saw three teenage victims shot at the Silver Saddle Motel at 725 Broadway Street.
The school was placed on lockdown due to security reasons and aside from the school’s own security officers, there are about two police officers on campus this morning and yesterday.
Counselors are on standby to provide counseling to student, faculty and staff and students won’t be able to leave campus during lunch hours for security purposes.
With frayed nerves, students and the community are poised for more news on this latest disturbing chapter of violence in King City.
