Crews rescue man from water in Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Fire Department rescued a man and his dog Friday at Its Beach in Santa Cruz.

Crews responded to the water rescue call just before 10 a.m.

Officials said the man was rescued after going into the water to retrieve his dog.
