Three children rescued from Royal Oaks mudslide
Three children were rescued from a mudslide in the Royal Oaks area Friday afternoon, according to North Monterey County Fire.
Crews said a major mudslide was reported at a home in the 600 block of Lewis Rd., just after 12:30 p.m.
The area has faced a lot of weather-related damage over the past week, including a sinkhole earlier in the week according to Fire Chief Chris Orman.
