Capitola weekend road closure

The city of Capitola Public Works Department warned drivers on Saturday about roads that will be closed through the weekend.

Public Works said Park Avenue between Kennedy and Coronado will remain closed until Tuesday due to road damage, and the threat of additional trees and branches falling during the next storm. But officials said detours are in place.

Wharf Road between Capitola Road and 49 th Avenue is closed due to road damage. Drivers are advised to use alternative options.
