Mission Road to be closed Thursday afternoon due to flooding

Officials said that a small portion of Mission Road near the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hunter Liggett will be close starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday because of flooding.

According to officials, traffic will be re-routed through the Army post and will remain closed until further notice.

All those going to Mission San Antonio, and residents from the area west of the Army post, will be escorted through the Army post, officials said.
