San Francisco sues over sanctuary cities executive order

San Francisco is the first city to sue President Donald Trump over his executive order taking away federal funding to sanctuary cities.

A lawsuit was filed in federal court Tuesday morning.

The 41 page document argues that the executive order violates the heart of the principles established in the U.S. Constitution.
