Missing Shasta County mother found safe

(AP) – Authorities say they are searching for two women believed involved in the abduction of a California mother who has turned up safe near an interstate. Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko told reporters Thursday that indications are that Sherri Papini was released by her abductors three weeks after she disappeared. Bosenko says the 34-year-old woman suffered unspecified injuries during her ordeal and was treated and released from a hospital.
ORIGINAL POST: Sherri Papini, the Shasta County mother who went missing on Nov. 2 has been found. That’s according to an update from authorities in Northern California.
They said Papini had been located out of the area, and that she is safe and in stable condition recovering at an undisclosed hospital. She has been reunited with her husband.
Authorities are holding a news conference this afternoon. We will keep you updated.
