Graffiti spreads message of hate in Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz County officials call it hate speech. Some time between Veterans Day and Saturday, Nov. 12, someone scrawled messages targeting religion and sexuality on the walls and curbs outside the County Building on Ocean Street.

KION’s Brandon Castillo spoke with county employees today who say they are hurt, and even afraid. Watch Brandon’s report tonight at 5 and 6 on KION 5/46.
