Soledad HS teacher arrested on sex charges
Greenfield Police have arrested a male teacher at Soledad High School and charged him with having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Police say Alexander Luna Salazar, 30, was arrested May 5 at his home in Greenfield.
According to investigators, Salazar arranged to drive a female student from Soledad to his home in Greenfield, where he had unawful sex with the minor.
Police seized several items of evidence, including Salazar’s work?issued computer, cells phones and copies of text messages and other communications.
Salazar has resigned from his position at Soledad High School, where he had been a teacher at the school for approximately 10 months.
The school district says it has begun an administrative investigation of Salazar’s conduct, independent of the Sheriff’s investigation.
