Repairing Monterey’s aging storm drains

Measure P money is helping repair Monterey’s aging storm drains. Some of the storm drains are 50 to 100 years old.

The work, which will last through February 2, may cause traffic delays. Monterey officials say the odors are harmless, but some may be sensitive to it.

Here’s the schedule:

Alvarado Street – January 27

Franklin Street – January 27 & 28

Polk Street – January 28

Via Chualar and Via Chiquita – Friday, January 29

Franklin Street – Monday, February 2
